Switching to T-mobile and hoping someone might recommend the best phone, I'm looking for a solid phone, I use it as my main phone and storing info (numbers, calender, personal info) I will probably not use e-mail or video, using it strictly for voice. My last phone is was a RAZR w/ Verizon, but my contract ends Dec. 15th, woot!

I very highly recommend the Motorola W490. It is a great looking phone with fantastic reception and sound quality. It has Bluetooth, advanced speech recognition, 2 very nice looking displays and more. I posted a full review of it in here which you can read if you click on the review tab in the Motorola W490 section. Hope this helps.

you have several options
if you perfer moto, get W490 as other reply
or nokia 6263, which is 3G version of 6133 with better battery
if you opt for unlocked phone, SE W300 is highly recommended, it has the best reception I used so far, N73 is close, V195 (T-Mobile version) is on par with W300
conclusion:
if you opt for moto first: W490 or V195 (you can get togo package, and use it as backup)
if you want 3G, get 6263
if you want unlocked, get SE W300

I like the curve...I have had all of them and it is tough and reliable. If you want to take advantage of Myfaves and Hotspot..its the only phone worth a crap...the new slider they came out with today might be good.

If you want a cheapo phone...well the razr is showing its age...but there is a reason it has been around so long. I think..they have made every improvment to the design they can at this point.
Hence..they have the razr v8..now...too expensive in my opinion...and I carry a $450 curve.

The windows mobile os is kinda weak...good for some folks...but wasnt reliable enough for me.
If the phone doesnt run at 400mhz...its too slow for windows...just my opinion.

Blackberries are consistant...razr...consistant. Thats both end...
