The Big 5 included UMA launch for years...

Rod Dir was the VP of Retail Sales & Operations until June of 2005... Even then the launch of UMA as part of the Big 5.

Since then Sue Swenson, Carol Criner, Bruce Brown and any number of other VPs and directors have moved on... and TMO still hasn't been able to get this product out the door.

First Altel and MyFaves and now UMA... if TMO can't figure out its problems in Go To Market, it's time to call it a day.

Now leadership is frozen due to Apple... while Retail transformation was supposed to near completion.

Siebel was written off months ago (not saying this was a bad thing) and there still isn't a game plan for post Brown architecture... Combine this with more competition just around the corner (e.g., Clearwire).

Even if they are unable to sell wireless service to a customer, they still have audio, video, technology services, landline, etc. to throw at customers.

Heck, even DirectTV and Dish are hooking up with Clearwire to provide a quadruple play.

If DT doesn't go on the offensive with some serious M&A activity in the US (and they spent their w...

Ummm, too bad I don't live in Cincinnati or Dayton. Very nice that this other carrier is first to do it in a couple of cities. T-Mo's had it out first in one city for over a year. Now they're going to be the first to launch it nationally.

Yeah, but in retrospect, Cincinnati Bell SUCKS!!! They have such a high turnover rate it isn't funny, AND their roaming agreement with Cingular/AT&T has expired.....
