Nothing. In CC we have our hands tied in what we can offer. People want free phones and the only one we can possibly even offer is the Nokia 3595. You might get someone creative who can drop the prices for some phones cheaper than what the average rep can do but good luck. Yes, other companies offer better phone deals but the problem with it, is that you have to sign a 2yr deal. Do you know what the problem with a 2 yr deal is? Your warranty is only 1 yr! Lets say your phone breaks in 14 mo. You're screwed so you have to sign another 2 yr deal to get a phone. We only "force" people to sign 1 yr deals because we have enough faith in our services and our customer services.

It's not a poor attitude, it's frustration that I can't keep a customer because we can't get better deals on phones for our customers.

Hey, by saying CC, does that mean circuit city? If that is what you mean, and you work at circuit city you don't have your facts straight. I work in California for circuit city, and T-mobile only has ONE year contracts that we can offer. So I guess people aren't screwed by the warranty, besides circuit cities store warranty is so much better to have. And we do offer more free phones than just the 3595. We also have the r225, and the Motorola v66. So if CC means circuit city, then go back to the store and do some training. If CC doesn't mean circuit city then this message is irrelevant.

CC does NOT mean Circuit City. It means Customer Care. Sorry for the confusion.

Ha! That was pretty good. But yes we are still trained, and at least in my area, we are the most informed on phones. We are very competitive with our phones also. I sell enough phones that the T-mobile and Verizon reps spoil me daily. I can't remember the last time I had to pay for lunch, or pay golfing greens fees. We used to sell At&t, Cingular, T-mobile, and Sprint. We now only sell T-mobile, and Verizon.
