KRZR Or A Sony Ericsson W810? Need Advices From You All

My cousin is due for a new phone and an upgrade.

She wants a combo phone/mp3 player.

I know both phones can be upgraded to 2MB.

Which one would you all recommend for the money, quality, options and durability?

First of all, I have not tried the KRZR -nor want to deal with Horrorola ever again after the SLVR.
I would highly suggest the Sony Ericsson W810i. Even though it is not a flip phone, it is a solid performer. Fast navigation, (this is VERY important to me) Intuitive and wonderful UI. Unmatched reception and call quality. I could go on and on...
Anyone who really knows about cell phones, or better yet anyone who sells them on a daily basis (and I sold plenty when I worked for Cingular) will tell you that SE phones are some of the best -if not the best- phones in the industry.

You mean both phones can be upgraded to 2GB, not 2MB..And actually the Sony can do 4GB and soon 8GB (I actually thing you can already buy the 8GB card, its just kinda pricey)...in the end, Sony wins.

I wont agree 100% of the time. The S710a I had was terrible with reception in my area, whereas the w810 is superb. Now, my 6682 was a better phone than the Sony when it came to doing things data related, as it has the Symbian OS. But I still like my Sony slightly better than my 6682, which I gave to my daughter who is 9 and had it activated. And she loves it.

How ridiculously overpriced the KRZR is. It's far below the W810i in terms of quality, and while the feature set of the W810i is similar to the KRZR, the practical use on any SE phone will be far better than most Motorolas.

No one in their right mind who knows anything about mobile phones would recommend the KRZR over the Sony Ericsson.

First remember Sony has alway dealt with music and Motorola has dealt with phone or communication. If your cousin wants a cell phone that plays music then the Awesome choice is Sony. If she wants to communicate get some other type of phone.

excuse me, but if that person wants to "communicate" the w810 is still the best choice between the two.

I agree for 2 reasons:53
1. The w810's camera is AWESOME!
2. The w810 isn't made by Motorola
