As far as i know of you can put pictures on to the phone, just like downloading them off the net. I am currently a Cingular agent, and the V600 as we are told should be in January or February... the v400 was suppose to be out today, however, Motorola is not producing phones fast enough. From what we are told none of the manufacturers can keep up with the supplies that are needed. What you might want to look into is finding a used phone for the meantime until you can get the v600 or v400. The only differences that we have seen in the two phones is the fact that V600 has bluetooth and a all metal design like the old V60t/i/ti, and of course as you mentioned the us port in the bottom.

The v400 you can sync to your computer, you can do it through the Motorola cradle that is offered. I have an apple and i have the cradle and i put my V60i in there and it syncs my names, numbers, to do list, and calendars all in my phone and on my computer whenever changes are made. PC's can do the same thing, but i believe they need a specific piece of software you can get off Motorola's website. Apple's iSync automatically reads it.

hoped some of this helped... ask one of your local cingular stores when they might see the v400 rolling in. it should be within the next few days......
