The v400 is closer to the v500 than the v300. there are major differences between the the v300 and the v400. the v300 it not quad band. the exterior look is different. the v600 has metal housing like the v60, the v400 does not. the v600 has bluetooth, the v400 doesn't. I haven't found the differences in the v400 & v500 yet, the only thing i can think of is like samsung, (x426 and x427) and motorola, (c331g, c332g, and c333g) are just making model #s for specific carriers. The price will be 299.99 to buy without contract. 149.99 after $50 mir on 2yr contract.
