I have been hearing rumors that Cingular Wireless will be launching something that has "Never Been Seen Before" around August 29th. 😲 Anybody have any idea what that is all about? 😕

well i havent heard of this one yet, but hopefully whatever it is will give benefits to csutomers... kinda wish they would let us know so that when it comes we have infmroation on it

Ditto. Big deal about a plan that has 200 more minutes of Family Talk time for an extra $10.00 over the current $59.99 for 500 minutes. Its also no big deal that we've cut 5 bucks off the third, fourth, and fifth lines. Sprint already offers 800 minutes for $70 for 2 lines and $10 each add'l. All that is really happening on our new plan is that we are matching Verizon to the penney on the same number of minutes (700).
Since these plans are old hat for the industry and Cingular is just now catching up, I hope we're really going to do something worth getting excited about on this August 29th rumor.

Sprint, pffft. TMobile has 1000 minutes on the family plan for 69.99 with 9.99 for third and up lines... 😛

Beginning September 1, 2005, Cingular will introduce three new FamilyTalk plans and re-introduce $9.99 additional lines on all FamilyTalk plans. These new plans will better position Cingular Wireless against competitive offers, offer more minutes to customers and discount the cost of additional lines on FamilyTalk rate plans.
