Calling All Cingular Users in DC

I live in Washington DC and am currently a Sprint user. I am going to switch carriers, and Cingular is #1 option I think. Wanted to know if anyone uses Cingular in the Washington DC area, and how the coverage is, both inside and outside of buildings.
Also, if people from other major cities could comment on cingulars coverage too - as outside of DC I would probably use the phone most in cities like NY, LA, SFran, Miami.
Any phone recommendations are also appreciated. Thanks everyone

I can tell you that Cingular's coverage in SF is great - only one small dead zone that I know of, down by Fisherman's Wharf.

I live in the DC area(Maryland) and I have the V400. I havent had a problem with the service. If you're looking for an inexpensive phone that gets good service I would try the Sony Ericsson T226, if you're looking for something with more features but is worth the money, I would go with the V400. 🙂

I have heard some things about the v400's battery life, but much less than any of the other problems motorola has had! 🙄
If you want a 4050 you'd better hurry, what's in stock is all they are getting as they are phasing out (hopefully they are prepping to get the LG C1300!).
