Upgrading from a Jurassic-era cell phone.

Not caring much about modern phones (for a long time) I have used an old Nokia 6340i GAIT phone since 2006. True, it was backward-looking even for 2006 but won academy awards for grabbing and holding cellular signal in a very weak signal area (and had an external antenna port, to boot).

A recent move has gotten me a bit closer to stronger cellular reception (from "almost non-existent" to "weak to moderate") and it's enough to considering upgrading to something a bit more modern, as well as having the option of data access.

I've been reading/studying my options and talking with friends. If anyone would indulge me here, now I'd be interested to hear what total strangers have to say 🙂

in your case...best phone for you is a sonim xp6. perfect fit phone for you. look it up!
