4yr iPhone user and scared but ready to try android --miss mem card , personalization , animated screen savers , + tired of apple privacy issues !! would appreciate advice about best a t + t phone available now ....galaxy s 111 or the note ???? and also if note 2 is expected available in us in oct

If the Note 2 sees an october launch that will more than likely just be the international launch. I wouldn't expect the note 2 to hit at&t untill at least feb, at the earliest. I love my note, and would want to tell you to go note, but the s3 is so damn smooth! It's really a toss up, you can't go wrong either way.

I'm hesitant with any galaxy product right now since Apple won their lawsuit against Samsung. Just show caution and do some additional research before purchasing. I prefer the HTC One X 🙂

Main question to ask: do you want a tablet, but don't want two devices?

If you've always kind of wanted a tablet but didn't want to take the plunge, the Note is the way to go. Otherwise, Galaxy S III.

I highly recommend the S III, unless as the other users said you want the sheer size of the Note.

If you are going to go with the note and you don't absolutely have to change now wait for Note 2, should be out before end of the year and as you said October sounds about right for that device.
