Re: at&t Android phones with unlimited data for $15
You can give ATT the IMEI of that device and it will not register on their network as a "smartphone" (they don;t have a data base of EVERY phone sold in the world) Put you SIM card in and get provisioned for the MediaNet plan or take it to Straight Talk.
We have a GT-7000 Note and and i9100 SGS II both in UL MediaNet plans and have not upgraded since the 3GS which was the last phone that sold for a great price on Ebay. We may upgrade for iPhone 5 if its a hot device to sell it.
Been doing this since the 3GS, ATT has not had a phone worth selling since.
I don;t know if they are offering the UL data MediNet plans anymore. If not we won't be upgrading at all. Just buy and sell International phones. Works out the same. No LTE though. But 3G is fast enough for our needs.
