... the largest being 500 MB for $25, why would you even want LTE on prepaid?

I don't think so though, but could be wrong.

Negative,

Prepaid data only supports 3G devices. No LTE or HSPA+ handsets.

There is an exception!

LTE phones will not yet work on prepaid becasue there are no prepaid LTE towers. HOWEVER, if you get a phone that is HSPA+, you can go into the settings and turn the HSPA+ service off. (Note: only some devices have this option)

The bottom line is though, that if you are buying an LTE device, you get a discount when you buy it with a contract, as well as more data allowance. Although our prepaid service is currently cheaper for basic and quick messaging devices, you should always use your smartphones on a prepaid account!

I hope this is helpful to you! 🙂
