I stayed out of that conversation (back than) due to a conflict of interest because I still worked for Verizon. However, in March of 2009 when that thread originated, you were wrong.

The off-network usage termination clause was added to the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service at about the same time the Nationwide + Mexico plans were launched. That was in the summer of 2009, several months after the referenced conversation. No one participating in that thread would have had any advanced knowledge of the upcoming policy change, aside from logical prediction.

The argument was about a specific policy of termination that didn't exist at the time- so it had never been used/enforced. The policy does exist now, but prophecy doesn't reframe the original argument.

"I told you so" is hardly a fitting recollection of the events.
