Since I work for AT&T, I can honestly say a lot of times people don't want choice. It's sad. It's to the point where I about hate the iPhone, I'm tired of hearing about it, unless someone specifically says they want an iPhone I don't suggest them anymore. Good article though, haven't finished reading it yet tho cuz I'm working $_$
