Streaming audio and video are the killers on those tiered plans.
If that stuff is really important for you to do over a cellular network I'd stick with something unlimited.
I'm hoping for some revised tiers and family data plans in the soon future. When and if changes like that happen it would likely be at the same time Verizon switches their plans. Which would likely be immediately preceding the release of the new iphone.
