BB Data Plan vs Android

So on TMO a Blackberry data plan isn't compatible with any other smartphone in their line up, IE SIM's aren't completely swappable. And I know it's cause RIM routes all data through them.
But what about ATT, is it same thing? You have to call every time you swap between a Blackberry and Android? And they'll provision your data plan as such.

Same deal and same reason, RIM has their own servers that are involved in delivering content. So it gets a different data feature code.

It may be updatable on the website, i've never tried it, if you selected "not my phone" and then went into the "features" section after you updated the m/m you were using.

Otherwise calling in would be the only way to make the switch. The phone would still work after the sim swap, just not the data.

Yeah, TMO has the same thing on their website. But it didn't work for me as it didn't change the phone even after I selected a BB and I still had to call in.
Maybe ATT's actually works from their site.
