HTC Inspire vs. Motorola Atrix: AT&T's current Android 2.2 4G choices - which is preferred?

media-channel

I'm shopping for Android 2.2 4G phones with AT&T. As of today, the 2 options are HTC Inspire and Motorola Atrix.

Is one clearly better than the other? or does it depend on your usage and preferences?

I've read both of Eric's reviews (thank you Eric for excellent and thorough reviews).

Further opinions and experiences would be appreciated. I've got another week before I need to make a choice.

or is AT&T adding an even better Android 4G phone soon, that I should wait for?

thanks.

my wife and I just switched to ATT and I got the Atrix and she got the Inspire.

so far, both are great. both are fast, both make good calls, both are solidly built.

it is more a case of which do you like better. yes the Atrix has more headroom due to the dual core cpu and more ram, but the inspire is about the top of the line of single core andriods.

my wife wanted the bigger screen and thinner body of the inspire, I wanted the power of the dual core.

Voice to text should work on any 2.1 and above Android smartphone. Just long press on the search button.
Here, watch this YouTube video.

Thank you Jayshmay for Google piece re Vox to Txt on You tube. An eye opener. Can only hope cut copy paste intuitive and helpful if called upon. But really impressive, this Android OS. Maybe time to abandon my BB Bold. Thanks again.

Is the Infuse going to have a Super AMOLED display?

It's a shame that smartphones on ATT are useless because of the 2GB limit.

I work for att at a call center and have done alot of research into different phones i prefer android over phones anyday. the main difference between the atrix and the inspire is goes to be the interface. atrix had motoblur which has been getting better from past modiles and the inspire comes with HTC sense which is my favorite so far, the inspire also comes with alot of widgets that are only provided by HTC. the other main difference and its the only different for the acual equipment not the software. is the atrix has a front facing camera for video chat and the inspire does not.
