if I just buy out the HTC inspire 4G full price.
I would still unlimited data no?
cause my cell bill has a slot that it is a iphone data
but how would they know if I have a different phone or not?

If you have an unlimited data package it's grandfathered even if you upgrade or activate a different phone, so no need to trick the system.
You would actually have to call to get your data plan updated because iphones have their own data plan and your internet won't work if you sim swap, you need to switch to the regular smartphone plan. You will have the option of continuing with the unlimited.
Yes, they would know you were using a different phone. When you put your sim card in another phone and power it up it pings the tower and announces it's IMEI number.

6. Samsung Captivate - (Android) $149.99
7 Motorola Atrix - (Android) - 199.99
If you weren't using data before can you take advantage of then new texting packages that came out to lower your minutes and add data and end up at about the same price or less?
The new texting packages include mobile to mobile to any mobile phone regardless of carrier. Often after setting up the new packages we have been able to move people down in minutes if their landline calling is not high....
