Cingular coverage Quality in Metro Detroit
Does anyone know how good Cingular's coverage is in the metro Detroit area? Alternatively, is there an independent entity (i.e. Consumer Reports, etc.) review of coverage by major market? Thanks.

It's excellent. I live in Garden City and sell Cingular services in Canton. Everything works great for me. The only problems I hear of are around Ford's headquarters in Dearborn. Let me know if you have a specific area you're wondering about.

I travel from Royal Oak to Dearborn daily, with periodic trips to Lansing and Ann Arbor areas. (Was thinking about National GSM service w/Motorola V400 phone.) Problem is, no one I know has Cingular (mostly Verizon and Sprint PCS).
