My in-laws lives in Wisconsin and I live in Minnesota. Can I sign up with Cingular in Wisconsin and use the service in Minnesota as well?

You should be able to sign up with the service in Minnesota. Wouldn't that be easier?

Failing that, signing up in Wisconsin, when you don't live in Wisconsin, would be Wrong. (Not difficult, providing you have a Wisconsin address to use, but Wrong.)

Also, "Cingular reserves the right to terminate your service if less than 50% of your usage over three consecutive billing cycles is on Cingular-owned systems." Termination of this sort might also invoke the early termination fee.

On the technical side, we seem to have good coverage in Minnesota, ex

No service till 2005, but roaming is allowed.

My mother-in-law would use her address.

Would I really be canceled?

You said: Also, "Cingular reserves the right to terminate your service if less than 50% of your usage over three consecutive billing cycles is on Cingular-owned systems."

So, if i picked the 500 min. plan. How much min. would i need to use order for them not to cancel my service?

Thanks!

I have been with the company for over three years now and have never come across any case where a customer has been cancelled because of this "loophole". As they stated before, it is not to say that it CANT happen. But I would put good money on it that it wont happen. A customer of cingular is a customer of cingular, no matter who's network you are actually using. Thats exactly why we have NO ROAMING no matter who's network you use. We are dedicated to bringing you the best service possible and if you live in an area that we don't service at this time, I see it as a compliment that you would go out of your way to actually be one of our customers.
