I am so, so, so ready to upgrade. But I'm afraid of too many stupid all touch devices. I want me a damn smartphone with a physical keyboard!!! I want Android *now*! ! !

As with VZW I'm sure it's hard for a carrier to realize there about to offer a phone without their bloat-ware.

So your saying Android smartphones aren't going to have a bunch of stupid ATT icons all over it like ringtones this, or "MediaMall" that, or whatever? If so, *GOOD*. They aren't the ones who made the phone, nor the software.

But I'm ready *NOW* damn it!!!

Appearently your ok with an all touch phone cause you have the Iphone, but I won't settle for anything less than a slide-out keyboard, something similar to the Droid but on ATT.

I'm willing to pay no more than $220 including tax. Best Buy sells phones w/o the stupid rebates.

Thus far the only Moto that I know for sure ATT is getting is the dorky backflip, which doesn't appeal to me.

I agree, I mean it looks as if the whole keyboard is showing if you use the phone by holding it up to your ear. 😕

True.
I have used the backflip. The keyboard is exposed but it's kind of a cool form factor. The Moto Blur software is also cool. The phone is more of a social networking device. If you into that stuff, you will love the Backflip.

Having used a N95 up until two weeks ago when I purchased a Nexus One I can say that for me a physical keyboard is not a issue. Unless you are doing a ton of email the thin Nexus One with its 3.7 AMOLED screen will thoroughly satisfy you.

Thanks for the feedback, good feed back cause I currently own the N95. Frinkin Opera Mini won't launch on my N95 and it pisses me off. I tried uninstalling Opera Mini and my N95 freezes up when I try uninstalling it, pisses me off, I hate the N95s default browser, it loads webpages way slow.
I am so ready to upgrade.

When typing on Androids keyboard does it auto correct like the Iphone does?

The keyboard does a auto-complete by intelligent prediction of the word you are attempting to spell.
The voice to text to fill in any text field is amazingly accurate also and is useful for internet searches and text messaging. Proper annunciation will provide good results.
The camera and video qua...

So when you convert a DVD, how big is the file size?
Also, I heard that when you download a song from the Amazon mp3 market that it gets saved to the phones internal memory. Is that true? And if so is there an option to move the song to the microsd card?

The DVD size for the average 2 hour film is about 1gb when converted.
The Amazonmp3 does store music on your sd card. When you initiate a purchase it creates a folder on the sd card named Amazonmp3, that is where the music is stored. You can move it, copy it, whatever you want. It is also DRM free.

Coming from Symbian S60 here are a couple things you will miss with Android.
There is no PC Suite which is very convenient to organize many...

I heard that Android can't save apps to the memory card. Is that true?

? for you about all touch phones. I like to read what I'm typing while I'm typing it, with an all touch phone such as yours the keyboard takes up half the screen when composing email/txt/posting to Phone Scoop, so if you type something long enough only half the screen shows what you wrote.
I prefer an Android smartphone with a slideout keyboard so that more of the screen can display what I've typed.
So how does having an all touch phone such as the Nexus One and the virtual keyboard taking up half the screen effect your ability to read what you wrote?

I don't want the backflip, it's a stupid design. I want an Android smartphone with a slideout keyboard, but one that slides out the right way!
