AT&T's network faster than WiFi?
So, I was doing some speed tests comparisons AT&T 3G network was actually faster than WiFi. What do you guys think? Have you done a similar test?

yeah. its faster than some slower wifi speeds....it really depends on what speed you've got and where you live. 1.5M to 3.0 and it will be comparable. 6M-12 or 18 and Wifi will win every time.

Mine either, I think the speed is there, but the latency is terrible. I average around 400k-2mbps on most speedtests but latency should be measured in miliseconds, not seconds, like it is on at&t.

I have ATT now but my coverage is bad here at home. I didnt get a voicemail for like a day after sent to me?? I need the coverage for important calls. I went to TMO and I have 1-3 bars inside. I have a BB Bold 9700 with TMO just ran the test and I get

100KB -11.61 sec
That doesnt sound good!! I am so confused with what carrier. I need the BB,iphone or droid to use for an application for my job.

that was at 100KB, I did it at 1 MB and was off the chart 2400 speed, so not sure which one to test at, it said 500 KBs or 1 MB ??

WiFi is only as fast as it's internet connection. WiFI with a U-Verse connection and one computer - pretty good. WiFi at Starbucks with 7 others using the same connection, not so good.
