Yes BB for email is best, excellent reception and a proven track record. I personally prefer the Bold 9000 because it has a bigger screen and keypad.

About the FOB - are you running supra? I recall many years ago that supra required an IR (infrared) connection no current phones have that, it was very specific to Palm Treo's of yesteryear. However, if the new FOB technology is running bluetooth or wifi (not sure how it would) then any phone would do.

Good luck, tough time for real estate in a lot of areas. But hey, it can only get better right? 😁

I agree, the Blackberry line of phones is the best for email. I also use the Bold 9000 because of the large screen and the 3G internet speed. If you find the 9000 to be a little large, the Bold 9700 is a little smaller, but still has a very sharp screen and the 3G high speed internet.

The FOB uses infrared to unlock the automatic key boxes. The Blackberry does not have infrared built into it, but I have seen adapters for the Blackberry phones, I believe on www.crackberry.com that would send the IR signal to the boxes.
