Being as the the phone is quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA 850/1900/2100 you should be able to buy one unlocked as soon as it goes to full production. Watch for review units in early 2010, if you see that a release date can't be far behind.
If you try some of the phones features from the website it shows a rather unique UI and features never seen on a mobile phone before.
If you really want to get this phone you will most likely have to import it yourself, I can't see any North American carrier picking this up.
