Actually, if you look at Samsung's history they never sell NAM's unlocked. Samsung has their nose so far up the network operators butts its pathetic.
Its a shame too, they have made some decent devices of late but you won't get a NAM 3G model unless you sign a network contract.
They are not as concerned as Nokia is when it comes to end-user experience with high-end devices.
