The technical expertise on this board is, I suppose, to be expected. You guys are the "in crowd," after all. What blew me away is the generosity of time and spirit.
I got two bona fide offers to exercise "system-melding superpowers" to get me through this gauntlet. Japhy had the right stuff at precisely the right time, but Isellthe****outofphones was all set to pull the strings for me, too. I am deeply grateful to you both.
(I have not completed the number port yet, but I have called the porting department to make sure of exactly what information they need, and the friendly guy there confirmed for me that my NBI account is good, and that it should be smooth sailing from here on in.)
