I, however, posted Q4 08 results.
AT&T has now more than 75M customers. Closing in on recently announced #1, the red check mark. 😲

Absolutely incredible! I read an article about this on another site. They were raving about this compared to Verizon's 1.4 I think. The article also stated that the Iphone is the major catalyst for those adds. How does AT&T's deal with Apple work? They pay apple a percentage of the monthly data revenue for every Iphone subscriber? I wonder how other handset manufacturers feel about that?

They did pay Apple a percentage on the original phone, but that was killed with the second phone because of the subsidies. It's all cake for AT&T after they sign up.

Only for 2G iPhones. That model was done away with when the 3G iPhone launched which is why companies are subsidizing the price of the phone now. Apple let the percentage go because they are making full price on the phone in addition to the App store through iTunes.

You read the profile. 😁 How sweet.

I saw in the financial reports that the charges has not increased with the new phone. It actually decreased slightly when the new phone came out.
