AT&T trial question
How does the 30 day trial work? I am currently with Sprint and I am not satisfied with my coverage. Does anyone actually know how good the coverage is in the Greenville SC area?

yes i would check your coverage in your area. In a 25 mile radius from Greenville SC it is in best coverage and beyond that is in moderate.

My contract at VZW is up and I will be switching to ATT when the new iphone is released next month. My question is should I begin with a free phone to make sure I'm happy with the service? ... that way I can get a full 30 days trial period or doesn't it really matter?

I just made the move from Verizon to AT&T , Don't worry you'll be fine. I was nervous also as Verizon does have a good signal for phone calls their just not user friendly. I was thrilled that AT&T worked just was well in my area ( Central Jersey Monmouth County) and we arent fully 3g yet either ! If you don't want a hassle leaving Verizon get your Verizon account number ahead of time for porting the number over cause when you go to call them they will give you a hard time about leaving they will beg you to stay.

Once you leave Greenville don't plan on having you phone work well anymore. I'm in Asheville and had to leave at&t just cause we couldn't sell at&t up here everyone has verizon. You see a lot of people having an iphone for looks and a vz phone for calls which is crazy but to each his own. My at&t never worked on hwy 11 and missed out on a lot of bis calls while on the boat at lake kiwi. Also it pisses me off that 3g was supposed to hit Greenville two years ago!!! and still no 3g. The closest 3g is Charlotte and it's not that great. Try it if you don't like it return all equipment (don't cut you upc off on your box) you only pay act fee and time used after three days but before 30. It can't be any worse than sprint. My phone roams where i work & even though sprint doesn't charge for roaming they don't deliver the calls to your phone when it roams. VZW gets no service and i mean zero service in any building where i work. My only real choices are at&t or alltel.
