Blackberry sim card?
Does a Blackberry phone require a specific sim card from AT&T? Or does it require any different network settings than any other smartphone?

There is no Blackberry specific sim card. A Blackberry plan will need to be set up on a sim card to enable Blackberry features like email and internet.

Thanks for your reply. One follow up question, if I could. I currently have a phone on the AT&T network that has internet service, if I place that sim card in a unlocked Blackberry phone would the internet work on the Blackberry? I am not concerned about Blackberry email, my job does not require it and web based email is fine for me. I do however like many of the features of the newer Blackberry handsets. Thanks.

Just remember no carrier can gaurantee that their features will work properly with unlocked phones. I had a Customer call in with an unlock Sprint BB from a few years back and wanted to know why some features did not work correctly.
