Why I should chose AT&T
Thanks!
They are the best gauge of your success with a wireless provider.
For instance, i live in phoenix. ATT isnt so hot here. T-mobile is much less expensive and has great coverage.
Your area is should be the largest factor in determining a wireless provider.
ATT would be great if you needed a butt load of streaming video or music downloads, but the 3G service is not available in every area.
Read the comsumer reports for your area. Go into a store and look at the phones.
but your mom, she sucked sooo hard, i had to pull the sheets out my @ss

What is it with boys and wanting to bed with everyone's mama? 🙄
I have asked my friends and family members about AT&T. My biggest concern is dropped calls. I get mixed opinions on that.
Thank you!

then you came to the WRONG place. phonescoop is full of howler monkeys like myself. hoo hoo hoo schreeeeeach!
UP
1. Coverage second to none
2. Phone selection is great
3. Quality of voice is crystal clear
Down
1. Customer service very poor
2. slow 3G and limited area
3. I recommend getting a non-branded phone as att stripes them down
I have a non-branded phone so I am not worried about that at all.
I guess I will have to find a way to deal with customer service.

What do you mean? Their prices are quite affordable!
In fact I have gotten my last 6 activation fees waived for customers. I just had a data plan backdated to the previous month to cover 360 dollars worth of charges. I never have an issue with anything I do. Respect them and they will help you. The mistake people make is demanding things over the phone and getting rude which would make anyone not want to help you.
Why do you say they are poor?
One other thing is the SIM card technology. When my first Verizon LG phone died, Verizon c...

Well my story is this. I had Verizon for years 4 to be exact along with all kinds of other providers like T-mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cell. To make a long story shorter I kept Verizon because these other service providers couldn't keep up reception wise and I live in Chicago which is a pretty big cellular market. All this changed when I decided to try AT&T and go with the Iphone. I immediately noticed much improved signal over Verizon everywhere I travel in the city of Chicago and suburbs as well as much improved signal inside my house. Not too mention the Iphone is much cooler than anything Verizon offers, and please don't say the voyager because I tried that and the signal on that thing was the worst of t

I am thinking of switching to AT&T. I live in Northern Virginia and travels to other parts of VA as well. I need people to convince me. Please no trolling!
Thanks!
Honestly, AT&T is decent. Nothing really fabo about them, but the service is decent they have really neat phones you can choose from and they still kept the Cingular tune but it is now called the AT&T Tune. I like them, they are not bad.
Sprint - Observations, coverage was very spotty outside the Metro DC area but otherwise worked okay. Poor (if any) coverage Internationally (Europe and India).
TMobile - Better coverage than Sprint. Fewest dropped calls of all the carriers I used. Coverage in the metro DC area, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Montgomery Counties was very good, better than all the others. Travel to NY, New England, and south to NC offered good coverage in populated areas but no coverage in places like the parts of the Outer Banks, NC -- south of Kitty Hawk was good. Great coverage Internationally (Europe and India) and good Intern...
