I actually started picking up ATTWS GSM last spring in Toledo, OH the Saturday before the announcement and the new IRDB download. You can't always trust the 'future' listings as they may already be installed and turned on, but not officially announced. About 4 years ago I was in Ripon, CA just North of Modesto and the Sprint PCS system was on and unusable, but it wasn't announced for about 2 months.
