Hey I am trying to find out what GSM bands the following companies use and where.

Cingular
T-Mobile
AT&T

Main reason is I have a friend who has the N-Gage and it simply will not work in Orlando, Florida.

The Sim and Imei are correct and the phone is set correctly in the Cingular System.

Thanks,

Dave

N-gage from my experience will not work on CIngular's system... we activated one, even though it came with a T-Mobile sim card, it never would work, we then activated it with T-Mobile and it worked perfectly, so i'm assuming it's the 1800 and 900 mhz of T-Mobile.

No GSM carrier in the US uses 1800MHz or 900MHz.. They only use 1900MHz or 800MHz (850 to be more precise).

Yeah according to GSM World, AT&T, Cingular, and T-Mobile use the 1900MHz bands.

Now the NGage uses GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 so it should work on the 1900 band in Orlando for Cingular. In Ocala, Florida Cingular has 1900 here and it works.

Any ideas anyone?

It should because T-Mobile uses 1900 in that area, Cingular and At&T use 800/850.

Wrong, Cingular uses 1900 in the SF Bay Area.
