Does anybody have any concrete info on whether the employees at Dobson will have jobs after the takeover?

Does AT&T usually keep reps on from the company they buy? And do they make people relocate?

When Cingular and old AT&T Wireless merged, most employees were retained, particularly in customer service. Stores are rather iffy. If one is located next to a current AT&T store, I wouldn't hold my breath.
Not sure about how it'd play out at the corporate office level. Middle management is probably most expendable in this kind of thing.

Most stores will still be here after the merger since they don't overlap much.
As for the HQ staff/buildings, they'll probably be around still, but will become regional/market offices.
