Questions..
Questions for you Verizon fanboys over here on our forum.....first, are you REALLY wanting to be a Cingular customer and you are over here trying to learn as much as you can?? Secondly, with my 2mp AF camera, I like to share my pics with my friends. So I may bluetooth them over from time to time, or I may bluetooth them over to my pc instead of whipping out the cable. Bluetoothing them instead of using the cable is just a quick and simple process. If I were to choose Verizon, I wouldnt have a problem doing that with any of your bluetooth camera phones, right?? I wouldnt run into any problems would I?

Ok i am not a verizon fanboy i am actually a cingy indirect but i know for a fact verizon locks out their bluetooth so you wont be able to connect to your friends or computer only earpieces. and to my knowledge verizon phones wont watch converted dvds either.

I dont know either. you would think they would let you do that but you cant. my roomates got verizon and i can also find him when tryin to bluetooth things but it always says connection not supported and he has an envy

Verizon is now changing there bluetooth policy
LG vx8600
LG EnV
And maybe some more that I have not listed
And SOON to be The Verizon Razr Maxx
All have full bluetooth capabilities except for transferring ringtones I think but I am sure about the rest.
Second of all.............
Lets not forget that Verizon was offered the iPhone first they turned it down b/c of apples policies on the thing....
I honestly believe that cingular was suckered in to it and probably the reason why apple didnt choose cingular first is b/c they recall the itunes on the Motorola's they tried and that was the biggest flop I have ever seen///////with apple N E ways.

Great response. They should all be like yours. I have great service with Cingular, I love my phone and if I am satisfied, thats all that matters. I am sorry you had terrible service, but am pleased you are happy with your current carrier. After all, that is what we all strive for I think.

Verizon is good here in Chicago, US Cellular is great as well. Sprintel is suffering and T-Mobile and Cingy are average.

So you like to Bluetooth your pic's. Cool. Wow who does it? honestly. Oh yeah if you did want to send them you would have to go outside. I bet cingular or Att who ever you are is happy that they are not allowed to by the 800mhz signal. How sad even a small company like Alltel has it. Ouch. Cool phones though. I'll give you that. I will take my no dropped calls and the ability to walk into a building anyday over standing 30 feet from someone to bluetooth it over. If someone is that close just show them the pic. Go VZW. one company, one name. Lets keep it Simple.

have you ever been to PHX. I have buddies that work for cingular corp and have to use there vzw phones to get signal at work. wow thats not good. in his home he has to sit by the window to make a call. his car broke down and if it was not for his vzw phone he would have had to walk 3 miles to a gas station to get help. He has one of the most expencive phones there. NOt good. it might be better in other places but not here. I sell new lines to more cingular customers than any other company.

What are you talking about? Cingular is a dual band network offering 850/1900.

I had a Sony Ericsson z500a to start out with and it did alright, but then I decided to get a razr and it did perfect. But when I decided to renew my contract I got a nokia 3220 and it had echoing problems so I took it back for another phone and got a LG 1400i and it did fine but that is when I noticed that calls started to drop alot. It really started to happen when I got the nokia 3220 and I was upgraded to a Cingular 64k sim card. I had previously had a 32k sim card which was perfect. And so I got rid of the LG and I bought a song Ericsson z520a because a bunch of my coworkers said that it was a really good phone for the price and this is when things really went down hill. I could not hold a call for longer than 3 min before it...

I would have to say it was the SIM card. I still use my 32k SIM card and I wont give it up until I absolutely have to. So, I would classify your problem as equipment problems, not necessarily a network/carrier problem. Maybe at some point you can come back to Cingular and things will be better.
