Now that AT&T gets it back, let's hope they fix all the crap that cingular did and make as good as it was before the original merge. I hope AT&T does not continue the down path that cingular is going. I hope they bring it back up. If not, I only have a few months to put up with this crap and go somewhere else. 😁

It's not the same company. How many times do we have to go over this. AT&T Wireless is IN NO WAY related to the current at&t. It is simply nothing more than a name change. Although there may be some more offers with combining multiple services under the same umbrella, there will be NO reversion to the former AT$T Wireless brand.

Ummm....did you read my post. I believe I was referring to the proper names as they were set forth, whether they are capitalized or not.

Personally I have not had any problems with customer care (in the past 6 mths). They seem quite a bit more knowledgeable then they use to and don't have an attitude anymore. All manifestations of AT&T are under the AT&T Inc title and are thus owned and operated by the former SBC Communications Inc.

ITS A NAME CHANGE! it's still cingular, same phones, same plans, a&t customers STILL have to switch if they want to upgrade their phones. they are not going to award you "loyalty" minutes for always paying your bill and not go over your minutes -.-

Very True; Jesus, unlike Satan, is the real thing. But as far as at&t, i like it. Stuff was good before Cingular came around. The locked bluetooth of Verizon is driving me crazy, among other things in that company, and I think at&t will do better.
