Explain differances between GSM and CDMA talk/standby time

Anyone explain this? I notice that GSM phones triple standby/talk times of CDMA phones. Why?

It actually has to do more with the phone then the technology. Higher end phones usually have better battery life, in my opinion. Check some of the high end GSM phones to the high end CDMA.

oh, and if the CDMA phone connects to any analog networks, the battery life drops to like nill. 😳 This is 'cause analog needs more power to give the omf to send its signals, as well the signals travel further then digital signals. If at less quality.
