If you come into my store, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES COME IN AND JUST TRY TO HAND ME YOUR PHONE!

You are going to stand there and look stupid with your hand reached out, and we're going to have a slight awkward moment. BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING TO TOUCH IT!

I am sorry if you think its rude, I just don't want to touch your phone, call me a germophobe, who cares? Constantly people come in with their phone in their hands frustrated handing it to me. Usually with one of these asinine statements:

"Its broke"
"You take a look at it."
"You figure whats wrong with it"
"This God *&^% thing won't turn on"
"I don't know whats wrong with it"

Which is fine, but say hello first, don't storm in like you own the place b/c you have a proble...

Maybe a new line of work should be in your future. One where you don't have to deal with the general public! 🤣

Oh I do see it. Your original post made me laugh. I just hope you aren't actually that rude to a customer.
I have an idea...I work in Materials Management for a hospital. I could send you a box of exam gloves to put on before they hand you the phone! 🙂

I will touch there phone, but I wait and find out why they are handing it to me, and what the problem is. Made a few safe saves that way. If it is water damaged, I just get them to insurance, rather than touching it.

On one note, good original post. That's happened to me quite a few times, where people hand me a phone saying they have problems with it, they don't know why, etc.

And then you ask if it was dropped in water and they say it was dropped in the toilet.

Seriously, how disrespectful do some people have to be to do something like that?

Regardless, you have made me rethink my ways when it comes to handling these situations. And I assure you, I will act accordingly.

On another note, in response to the post I'm replying to, how do we even know he works for Cingular?

His name is SprintLynchburg 😈
