Nokia E62 smartphone or PDA?
Been trying to get one of these babies, but the local rep says I have to get the PDA connect plan rather than the smartphone max plan. What gives? Can anyone give some guidance here?

You cannot use the 29.99 BB Plan on the Nokia E62. You must use a Blackberry Connect plan 44.99 for unlimited. The 29.99 is only for RIM devices on the Blackberry Interprise Server. Any devices that use Blackberry connect (E62, Treo 650, Treo 680, etc) feature must just the 44.99 PDA Connect for Blackberry Connect.

i hate to say it, but you are WRONG........... one of the reasons cingular launched the 29.99 personal bb plan was to get people who want it but do not need enterprise activation or access to an exchange server... so, i have an e62 on my personal line, i have the 29.99 bb plan on it, and working for cingular, i know that you can have it. i don't know where you are getting your infor...

I hate to say it ask well but you are WRONG. Check CSP if you are a Cingular employee. I was confused on this matter myself and checked with my RAE he double checked with a Cingular Data Specalist and he confirmed that the E62 or ANY device using Blackberry Connect is NOT to be used on the 29.99 BB Plan. Use it if you want. Don't whine on this board once you start getting a huge bill.

Floyd is correct. The $29.99 plan is only for Blackberries. If you want to use BB email on the Treo or E62 you'll need the $44.99 one.
