customer service

carlsberg

Sep 28, 2006, 5:12 PM
How good or bad is customer service with Cingular?

How real is the call drop rates?

I need a GSM provider. Both Cingular and T-mobile have coverage in my area. Both have cool phones that I like. I have Verizon now.

So, people convince me why I should join the orange empire or stay away.

Thank you!

Customer service is just like anywhere else: it depends on the rep you get, but overall it is okay. As far as dropped calls, it does depend on your area and I was also told once by a tech that 90% of dropped calls are device related, not network. No cell service is perfect, but I've been with Cingular since high school (5yrs now) and I love it.

I have cingular and verizon. I surely travel alot and I drop alot of calls though If i Do not drop it, itsurely sounds horrible. I never have trouble with the verizon though. As said earlier sometimes it is the actuall phone that may have the trouble and so Ihave used different types ofphones by switching sim cards with friends. It all sounds S%*&^ Though motorola for cingular are very good but still I prefer verizon and I am so happy I only got 2 months left with cingular

dude put it like this i live in an area where every carrier except sprint and nextel have great coverage.

while selling verizon i went to the cingular store and signed up on a family plan when i got free phones for selling the service. 😲
1. because of features.
2. phones.
3.coverage everywhere i needed and wanted.
customer service is great dude. now that i sell cingular its even better.

if that doesnt tell you enough i dont know what to tell ya. 😉

Dude sprint has bad service everywhere Vs. Cingular. i had sprint, there CS sucked and my 250$ phone was a Piece!!

Now back on topic. I have been a Cingular customer for almost 4 years and sold cingy for about 3 years. Thre a good company the AT&T thing gave um a bad name but if you know the facts you understand why things where they way they where with that. I say cingular 100% why would you go to a company that is always trying to sell its self? T-MO is always up for sale, dont go to a sinking ship.

Sprint rules in the Midwest in places where Cingular doesn't even have a network.

Yeah, not sure where this kid is getting his info. I've yet to find a place that has bad service with Sprint. Even if I do happen to find that spot, I'll just be roaming...for free.

Get your facts straight before you decide to babble bullshit.

Cingular's customer service is like eating a White Castle burger: it tastes great and is very filling, but 5 minutes later you got the runs.
