I need opinions, i was about to get the cu500 in a couple of days b/c it just came out for my area but i heard the v3i was also coming out. That has made my descion tougher. I am leaning towards the cu500 though..

Razr's suck, put the useless 100 song itunes on it and all you have is a crappy phone with a weak itunes. CU500 is a pretty great phone, and it blows the razr away in just about every way except battery life, but a car charger takes care of that anyway.

i had the v3i and use the cu500 now.

only thing the v3i has is.. album art for itunes... that's the only "cool" thing about it

the screen qualities are also almost the same considering the v3i is 265k and the cu500 is only 65k

other than that... everyone will mistake it for a regular RAZR v3

the cu500 has stereo speakers for music.. so if you're going for a music phone check out the cu500.. the v3i can't change tracks while the flip is closed.. and the speakers are weak.

It also might be the extra data usage because of HSDPA that drains the battery faster, I know my data usage has spiked.

its so strange because most LG's ive tried and sold here at my store are not very good due to poor signal strength, slow keypad(im a quick texter and some of my entries wont pick up). although i think they hold up quite well compared to other phones, i would never own a LG but i wish i could try the CU500 to see if it changes my views.

the LG cu500 is the obvious choice, HSDPA, slim nice look, all black(i personally love black phones 😁), megapixel camera, bt, mp3 player, and more, the complete package, the v3i has nice features that should had been in the original razr, but no edge(it has slow ass gprs), and the only thing different is the crippled iTunes(dont get me wrong i love iTunes and iPod), and megapixel camera,
