Cingular reps please help
Im looking to get a blackberry.But when i called customer service to get information they told me it was 44.99 a month. I dont need B.E.S and asked about the 29.99 plan and was told there is no such plan. it is on the web site, but i wasnt sure if it included text and instant messaging and media/ internet. can someone please help ?

Technically, there is no such plan. Only certain people can get the plan, and that is pretty rare. And, no, none of the voice plans you see online include text, IM, or data. The data plans for BlackBerrys are 39.99 for 4MB and 49.99 for unlimited. If you don't want a BB data plan, then there really is no point in getting the phone. You can find a much cheaper, more user friendly phone instead.

ummm... no.. anyone can get that plan.. It's BB for personal email. The target user is exactly what he/she is describing.

Ok, technically you're right, anyone CAN get that plan. However, they can't get it by going through the sales dept. Customer Care has to quote them the plan. In sales here we have to have notation before we can give the plan to them, and that is only if it is available in our system. Sometimes Cust Care has to change the plan after the sale is done.

South East............. but. you can get unlimited blackberry for 29.99. you get unlimited internet and email. if you use any IM program, go through Cingulars MEdia net and use the web based version of yahoo, aim or msn messager.... NO text is included. but, just tell ANYONE to send you a message to (yournumber@cingularme.com) other carriers will bill them as they will, but cingular customers will be billed as text and you will be billed as recieving an email so NO charge to you... the reason cingular does not include text with unlimited text with blackberry is because of the extinsive roaming agreements and they don't want you to have to worry about 2 coverage maps and (other than their MEdia net) you run through blackberry isp an...

Its on the web site. Im in Long Island NY 11580.When I choose a blackberry as my device,then pick my plan after the voice plan it gives me the option for the bb plans. There is the 4mb plan the unlimited and then below is the personal plan 29.99.does it include internet? aim ? media net etc thanks
