Nextel18, what makes you think that churn will go ^? I agree on voice ARPU, but I think data ARPU will be higher than that. Remember AI's finale was during Q2.

I also looked at the 1st quarter of 2005 and compared it with first quarter of 2006 and Cingular had a difference of only 300,000 net new subscribers and a .3% churn improvement differential. So I think that 2nd quarter of 2005 and 2006 should be similar to what happened in the first quarter of this year and 2005. FYI, last year 2005 2nd quarter net adds were only 1.1 million subscribers and churn was a total of 2.2%. I think they will continue to be feeling the affects from the problems they are having with Radio Shack and to put it simply they aren’t doing that well so that is why I think churn should be up a bit and that my estimates for net adds should be lower. Actually, you can and that is what the analysts and others look at, because they see if there are improvements from the 1st quarter of last year to 1st quarter of this year. That is how it is done. Even if the press releases they say “… 60bp from this year till last year and a $1 more or less from last year on the arpu side. Etc...”
