Alternative to free ringtones since walmart is useless nowadays

Anyone know where to get them? I just got a new phone and I want to transfer all my Prince ringtones from my old phone to my new one. Prince ringtone are hard to find!!! Help!

OMG!!! I LOVE Prince!!!!
I'm on the same boat, I have a whole bunch of ringtones I'd like to have to my SLVR. I wish I could transfer all my kick ass ringtones from The White Stripes, Portishead, Massive Attack, Radiohead, Beck, Neko Case, and Interpol from my old v551. đŸ˜ĸ I loved my unique ringtones... ☚ī¸

ME TOO!!!! I love Meg White. There's something about women playing drums that I find SOOOO fu**g HOT!!!! đŸ˜ŗ I also love Lenny Kravitz drummer... 😁 her afro bouncing while she plays is one of the reasons why I could never miss him in concert!!! lol

1.) Make a copy of the song you want to use
2.) Open the copy in iTunes and right click the song and go to "Get Info". Under the Options tab change the start and stop time to whatever 30 seconds of the song you actually want to hear.
3.) Now again right click the song and select "Convert to AAC". Once conversion is done, save the AAC file as a name and in a place that will be easy to find. (I made a folder on my desktop named "ringers")
4.) Go to http://funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/upload Ringtone.php?nofile=1 and put in your phone number with area code, select Cingular and then browse for the AAC file and then click "Send to Phone".
5.) With in a few seconds after the file is finished uploading you will get a text message. When you ...

Well that is sweet info. However, when I save it to my desktop, I just bluetooth it over to my phone. Quick question...why AAC format? Because some phones won't allow the playback of mp3 format? Mine does, so that is what I chose. Again, thanks for the sweet tip. Together with limewire, my ringtone selection is once again unlimited.

Yeah, I did mp3 format when I did that also...but I pretty much cut and pasted that from a Sprint forum. I have sprint 🙂
