Cingular and Bellsouth home svc bundle - weird issue
I recently went full bore into Cingular after being an ATTWS customer for years (from the CellularOne days in the mid 90s). Since we went with Complete Choice with ULD for our home service, I figured I'd buy two new "Cingular" phones, move my family plan over to Cingular's systems, then work it into a "bundle" with my Bellsouth home services...all to save an extra $10 per month with the whole Bellsouth bundle savings packages.
When I was on ATTWS, and I'd call my home phone number (Bellsouth), my home caller id would show "Wireless Caller" and my cell number...this always irked me...why couldn't it show FName LName like a normal caller id entry? Try clearing out your home caller id so that the old number isn't there anymore. Then try...

Cleared out the home caller id, then called from my cell...still came up as Out of Area with my cell number.

Just got my 5/23 bill, and there's no insert with any information about this issue (one called StarLines re: hurricane preparedness, one re: DSL, one re: Bellsouth Answers, and one re: distributing directories in my neighborhood :-)) The last pages of the bill itself don't mention this issue either.

the last few bills have had it typed on the one of the pages of the bill. I have seen it on the bill and i work at a retail store and have had to deal with it.. You can call cus serv and they can put a code on your acct and it will show up as wireless caller
