Does anybody else just love this thing? It flat out shows coverage area and strength anywhere, so you're able to address coverage area concerns before you ever sell anybody a phone.

Yes, even thou I dont always trust it! sometimes I get customers who claim they get dropped calls, I go to MTi tool, enter their zip code and according to the map they should'nt had been able to use their phone at all!!! due to no coverage whatsoever, so I think that map tool is not up to date, besides this I find it very useful 🙂

I love it.

Even if it shows "no coverage" in areas where coveratge is provided only by roaming.

Looking up an place in Maine, for instance, is quite alarming. ("What do you mean, the whole state is white?")

My favorite part is that you can watch coverage grow over time. When I first began working I looked at all the towers around my house and school, a year later I come back and a tower has been put up in the middle of campus, no wonder my coverage improved.

I just wish they'd update it. Brochure shows coverage in SE Virginia (Norfolk/VA Beach area), but MTi doesn't... 😢

that's the thing - MTI only shows our network coverage. If we use another carrier's towers in a particular area, MTI wont show it. Exapmle being western new york - the nothern counties are us (buffalo, niagara falls, etc.) but the southern tier (i.e jamestown, salamanca, etc.)is Dobson, so MTI doesnt show, althouh most of that area is covered.

Used it when I worked for AT&T customer care in 2010 - 2012 and worked from home in my bedroom. We were home agents that had our work portal with our Avaya phones as long as we had a stable internet connection to support our systems. It was like we had just taken our cubicle from work and brought it home with us, literally. I guess they really trusted us to be at home taking these calls for AT&T customers lol. We had access to so much stuff too. MTI Map Tool was definitely one of my favorites to play around with during breaks or after work.
