Over the past couple weeks, while in a call, ive noticed a weird popping sound that happens thru out the call. Theres also a point where it sounds like the calls dropped, but its not. Kind of that silent silence. And the connection when im talking to people is very choppy. I have a LG1400 phone (dont mind my screen name) thats not even a year old. I have a full signal all the time, as do the people I talk to, or on landline phones. any takers??

thanks for the info, unfortunatly I have to sdo this from a landline phone, and I dont have one. Just my cell. Guess Ill have to wait until my vacation is over next week and do it at work. Thanks tho!!
is there a problem with the LG1400? or something different?

i have 4 family members on the LG L1400i and they are fine so I think you just have a bad one

any cingular store should have a landline for people to make calls to customer service, xbm, lockline etc

yeah, its getting ridicilous now. I just tried calling my friend, which I got thru on the 2nd try. But she couldnt hear me, and the counter didnt turn on. Then she called back, and the phone was open, and the receive button would not work. Its so fustrating, its funny. I need a drink.

If you're hearing it on all calls, all the time, regardless of the called partie's provider, it's likely something in either your microphone or speaker - or both
Big question is does the other person hear this popping & choppiness, or is it only something you hear??? Either way, it's a device problem, needs to be replaced.
...
yea, probably a loose wire/speaker...
...
no, they other party does not hear the noise.
...
I dont think its a loosewire problem, because now.................
I get the Channel Unavailable while Im in call, resulting to a dropped call, and have to wait 2 minutes until I can get the person back on.
and when I get a call, I have active flip turned on, the screen freezes after I hit receive because the flip didnt work, and either the number, or caller ID pic stays on the screen, then it goes dark, and pops back on again.
grrrrrr.
