Hey. I was just wondering if anyone out there had any thoughts about cingulars new PTT and nextels DC. Does anyone think that now that Cingular has PTT they might put a hurt on nextels DC? Just looking for a little input on the subject.

If cingular can get some full featured phones with PTT I think they will have a definate edge.

cingular's PTT is no competition for Nextel Direct Connect. Cingular's PTT has a lot more latency. Even with Sprint they are offering two different types of service presently with Nextel service on the iDen network offering things such as DC. Sprint's native PTT network isn't as good as Direct Connect either.
