Does Cingular have any good PDA phones coming out. It seems that Verizon has all the good phones including the Treo 700w and the soon to be released Motorla Q. When will Cingular get a decent QWERTY PDA not named the treo 650

Siemens SX66 is a great device and works very well on Cingular's network. A bluetooth updater came out that resolved issues with bluetooth headsets. My sister-in-law has one that I love to play with when we get together.

Cingular gave her the device after the Treo 650 gave her problems for the almost a year that she had it.

The policy I think had something to do with a three time replacement of the Treo 650.

The Siemens SX66 was a little difficult for her to adjust to because it is PDA centric, but once she got used to it she can't shut-up about why I should give up my Treo 600 for it.

I can tell you that my Treo 600 works flawlessly on Cingular's network (barring the fact that the signal indicator is stuck on full). Phone and da...

The SX66 is gone now although you may find some out there still for sale. A newer model is the HP Ipaq 6510 and 6515 (with camera).

That's not a Treo 🙂

I use the Sony Ericsson P910a. Its an amazing device. My only beef is that it doesn't have WiFi but the new version coming out really soon (P990) does. It doesn't get much more powerfull than the P series. I went through a ton of phones before I came to this. Read up on Howardforums.com to learn about these devices. Its under UIQ stuff (symbian). If you decide to get one, get it from buy.com as I did. Best price by far ($400 shipped).

Wow, I'd hardly say Verizon has "all the good phones". The Treo 700 is the first phone they've got that's really a trump card over Cingular. And the Q is almost certainly going to be available for GSM before it's on CDMA. The 650 is not the newest phone out there, but it's still rather nice, as is the MPX220, the HP iPaq6515, RIM 7290, 7100, and 8700, the Hitech 2125, and (when they're released) the Nokia 9300, and the Hitech 8125.

I've been using the HP iPAQ HW 6515 since November. I'm impressed so far, took some getting used to using it as a phone though...

Since the Treo 700 is windows mobile based, I wouldn't say it's a trump over anything. Palm caved with the 700 and I hope it's the ONLY windows phone they ever produce.
