WirelessMove

Hi everyone:

I wnated to know if you can help me out. I'm moving to South Florida (FT Lauderdale, Miami area) and I would like to know how is the service coverage fro Cingular there? I looked at Cingular's Website but I learned from experienced not to trust that type of information. So I want to get feeback from people using Cingular in South Florida. Would Verizon be a better option?

Thanks!

I know service in the area is awesome since I've tried it there myself. Now, there was some drama in here yesterday about some type of "conspiracy" (Cingular manipulating everyone's phones in the area) I just laughed at the idea...

LOL! Indeed, yet another victim of the "P38 Cingy RF Modulator"! It's true, they follow you around in vans and point the thing at unsuspecting victims... One second, "yeah, so I was at the bar and...." the next, "....hello? hello?" Five bars to none faster than an auto-airbag deploys!

Cingular has good service in South Florida, but most people know that Verizon has this area covered the best.

I am actually waiting for feedback on the Treo 700 while I consider paying more for Verizon service.

If you already have Cingular and you are in a contract, or want to stay because you like your phone then don't even think about switching Cingular service is plenty good.

You can also go to a Cingular corporate store and ask them to use their MTI Map tool. It will break down the coverage on a street level, tower by tower basis and tell you more exactly what you will get rather than looking at the broad view maps you will find online and elsewhere.
