effective june 27 several changes will be made to your service. they are:
txt messaging is now only 5 cents per message.
ability to roam off network
larger coverage area
gprs for web browsing and downloads
downloads
aim for certain phones will now work
we finally got what we've been waiting for. this is confirmed. cingular sent me a letter. i am in the carolinas if this is not a nationwide change which it should be.

same roaming as a regular nation plan? or more roaming?

im sorry i didnt give all the info. i didnt proof my post. gprs will also be available on this date. downloads will be available. games, poly ringers and color graphics. mobile im over aim will also work with select prepaid handsets. the new text messaging fee is 5 cents per message instead of ten. it is not the complete network but it is better than before.

Please note that this will only change if you are a GSM Prepaid customer.
TDMA Prepaid Customers will have to establish a new account (at the moment). Eventually, customers will be able to convert their accounts from TDMA to GSM, but that is not yet available.
